Basketball Recap: North Atlanta Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alpharetta last Monday, North Atlanta came back down to earth. The North Atlanta Warriors took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lambert Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Longhorns are ranked 26th).

North Atlanta dropped their record down to 12-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lambert, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

North Atlanta will be playing at home against Denmark at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lambert, they will take on West Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
