Football Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Murray County Indians. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 34-14 to the Indians when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mason Williams threw for 59 yards on eight of 19 attempts.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Murray County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Whitfield County will face off against Armuchee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Murray County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
