Harding takes loss despite strong efforts from Madison Hunt and Madisen Mcfadden

Recap: Harding Skippers vs. St. John Fighting Herald
The Harding Skippers won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were outmatched by St. John on the road and fell 63-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Harding has suffered since December 11, 2023.
Madisen Mcfadden and Madison Hunt certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Mcfadden scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, while Hunt scored four points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Hunt has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Harding's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for St. John, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Harding will head out on the road to square off against Mathews at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mathews is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. St. John will take on Lordstown at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lordstown is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
