Baseball Game Preview: Bergman Panthers vs. Mountain View Yellowjackets

Bergman is 1-6 against Mountain View since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bergman is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Valley Springs, falling 31-0.

Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to Valley Springs. The game marked the first time this year in which the Yellowjackets were not able to get on the board.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bergman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Bergman might still be hurting after the 18-1 loss they got from Mountain View in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
