Softball Recap: Moniteau Takes a Loss

Moniteau fell victim to Cranberry Area and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Berries. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Berries: they've now lost four in a row.

Moniteau's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Cranberry Area, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Moniteau is set to take on their familiar foe Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cranberry Area will face off against rival Karns City at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
