Basketball Recap: Sunray Takes a Loss

Sunray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Spearman Lynx, falling 62-33. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1214th, while the Lynx are ranked 468th).

Sunray's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Spearman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Stratford the next time they take the court. Sunray will host Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Spearman will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
