Volleyball Game Preview: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. Miyamura Patriots + How To Watch

The Bloomfield Bobcats will venture away from home to challenge the Miyamura Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miyamura took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bloomfield, who comes in off a win.

Bloomfield took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Gallup, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Bengals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since August 19th.

Bloomfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Miyamura came up short against Kirtland Central on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-19, 21-26, 25-21.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Miyamura, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9.

Bloomfield couldn't quite get it done against Miyamura in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
