Volleyball Recap: Rosebud-Lott's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Rosebud-Lott challenged Bremond on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Rosebud-Lott was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bremond work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25.

Kaitlyn Jenkins paced Rosebud-Lott's offense, picking up seven kills. Jenkins got some help from Alaya Cavitt and her ten assists. Jenkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rosebud-Lott fell to 5-1. As for Bremond, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Rosebud-Lott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rogers on the 16th. As for Bremond, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holland at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
