Pottsgrove has gone a perfect 5-0 against Norristown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Pottsgrove is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Pottsgrove lost 16-6 to Pope John Paul II on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered against Pope John Paul II since March 29, 2019.

Meanwhile, Norristown hadn't done well against Upper Merion Area recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Vikings 16-15. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Norristown pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Pottsgrove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Pottsgrove beat Norristown 4-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
