There's no place like home for North Huron, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 43-11 victory over the Mayville Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Huron to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ana Champagne, who went 7-for-10 on her way to 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Champagne has become a key player for North Huron: the team is 10-3 when she posts at least three steals, but 1-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Schornack, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

North Huron's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Mayville, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, North Huron will venture away from home to challenge Peck at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Huron's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so Peck's offense will have their work cut out for them. Mayville has already played their next match (against Kingston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
