Servite came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the JSerra Catholic Lions with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Friars not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 18th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-17, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why JSerra Catholic lost, don't look at Darren Chi. Despite the final result, he had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Chi has posted since back in April of 2024. Cole Granado also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Servite's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for JSerra Catholic, they moved to 12-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Servite will face off against Mater Dei at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for JSerra Catholic, they will square off against Orange Lutheran at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
