Volleyball Game Preview: Ross Rams vs. Bellbrook Golden Eagles

The Ross Rams will take on the Bellbrook Golden Eagles in a tournament on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ross sitting on six straight victories and Bellbrook on three.

Ross saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Monroe with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ross was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-11.

Ross found their leader in sophomore Sophie Ober, who had 13 digs and five assists.

Ross was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 15 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Bellbrook duked it out with Chaminade Julienne Catholic on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

Bellbrook's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Ross, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Ross took their win against Bellbrook in their previous matchup on October 7th by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
