There's no place like home for Fond du Lac, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Neenah Rockets by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Fond du Lac walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 24-26, 25-14.

Fond du Lac found their leader in freshman Liberty Gessner, who had ten assists and seven digs.

When it comes to explaining why Neenah lost, don't look at Ella Lindgren. Despite the final result, she had 29 digs and two assists. Lindgren has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Fond du Lac's record now sits at 15-11. As for Neenah, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-10 record.

Fond du Lac and Neenah should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Cardinals will face off against Appleton East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (28 vs. 231). Meanwhile, Neenah (ranked 51st) will meet Kaukauna (ranked 217th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
