Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gruver). They blew past the Guymon Tigers 61-6 on Friday. The Greyhounds have beaten the Tigers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Gruver's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Guymon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Gruver will head out to face off against River Road at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Guymon, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Texhoma/Goodwell at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
