Volleyball Recap: Cypress Lake Has No Trouble Against South Fort Myers

Cypress Lake's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the South Fort Myers Wolfpack as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lilly Witz went supernova, getting 19 assists and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Witz wasn't the only good servers: Cypress Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Cypress Lake's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for South Fort Myers, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Coming up, Cypress Lake will head out to face off against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Fort Myers, they will challenge Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
