Logan had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Hayden Bruhn did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Longhorns snuck past the Santa Rosa Lions with a 71-66 win with plenty of help from Bruhn, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and ten boards. His big performance that afternoon made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Mason Wallin, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Wallin is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Santa Rosa, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Logan has already played their next contest, a 69-60 win against Mesa Vista on the 13th. As for Santa Rosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-49 victory against Eunice on the 13th.
