Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willmar). They put the hurt on the Hutchinson Tigers with a sharp 84-60 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cardinals have posted against the Tigers since December 12, 2017.

Willmar's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Hutchinson, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Willmar and Hutchinson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Willmar (ranked 253rd) will meet Alexandria (ranked 12th) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Hutchinson will take on Southwest Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 191 places (295 vs. 104).
