Football Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Dunbar was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 19-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meadowdale Lions. The Wolverines lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 44-14 score last time.

Meadowdale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dominick Ramsey out in front who rushed for 54 yards and one TD, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.

Dunbar's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-7. As for Meadowdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Dunbar nor Meadowdale have any future games scheduled.
