Basketball Recap: Hamilton Falls Despite Big Games from Canaan Magness and Tyler Jette

Hamilton lost against Frenchtown back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hamilton lost to Frenchtown on the road by a 67-53 margin. Hamilton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton's loss came despite strong showings from Tyler Jette and Canaan Magness. Jette went 8-for-12 en route to 20 points in addition to six boards and three steals, while Magness posted 19 points and five rebounds. What's more, Jette also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Asher Grriffin, who had five points.

Hamilton now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Frenchtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-28 win against Corvallis on the 1st. Frenchtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
