Basketball Recap: Noah Bolen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Chapel Academy over Melbourne Central Catholic

Calvary Chapel Academy lost against Melbourne Central Catholic back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles fell 57-49 to the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hustlers 16-10 in the first quarter.

Calvary Chapel Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Bolen, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ephram Welsh, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Tristan Hamilton was a one-man wrecking crew for Melbourne Central Catholic as he had 14 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Grady Bonenberger, who put up nine points and four steals.

Calvary Chapel Academy now has a losing record at 2-3.

Calvary Chapel Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-38 loss against Merritt Island Christian on the 5th. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-45 win against Synergy Magnet K12 on the 5th.
