Volleyball Recap: Hanover Beats Eastern York for Their Third Straight Victory

Hanover waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Eastern York Golden Knights by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Nighthawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hanover walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 25-27, 25-21.

Grace Herndon paced Hanover's offense, picking up eight kills. Herndon got some help from Morgan Roberts and her 19 assists. Isabelle Rangel controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Eastern York, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Hanover has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Littlestown on the 9th. As for Eastern York, they will face off against Kennard-Dale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
