Eunice is a perfect 10-0 against Washington-Marion since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eunice Bobcats will head out to take on the Washington-Marion Charging Indians at 5:00 p.m. Eunice will be strutting in after a victory while Washington-Marion will be coming in after a loss.

Eunice will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Mamou, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Eunice put the hurt on Mamou with a sharp 11-1 win on Wednesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Washington-Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vinton. That's two games in a row now that the Charging Indians have lost by exactly four runs.

Kelsi Starland was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. Starland was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Washington-Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eunice, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went Eunice's way against Washington-Marion when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Eunice made off with a 19-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eunice since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
