Apache made his presence known in Alamo Navajo's 61-51 defeat
While Jacob Apache delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Alamo Navajo. Apache was dialed in and scored 24 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. He played a big game the last time he faced Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy, so the team probably should've seen him coming. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Apache has scored all season.
Apache and Alamo Navajo will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Apache's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Alamo Navajo's 18-game streak of wins at home. With the streak snapped, Apache and the Cougars surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
