Peebles took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against North Adams, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Green Devils on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since May 9, 2024.

Nathanel Cummings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Daniel Clark, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Peebles' victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for North Adams, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
