Cusick got themselves on the board against Republic on Tuesday, but Republic never followed suit. They blew past the Tigers 7-0. Considering the Panthers have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cusick's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Republic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Cusick will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Oroville at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Republic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Selkirk at 12:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
