Volleyball Recap: Christian Family Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Christian Family Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders on Tuesday. The Fire haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Christian Family Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 20-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Ally Justice was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had eight aces and seven kills. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyna Smith, who had six aces.

Christian Family Academy's record now sits at 4-5. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
