Basketball Recap: Twin Falls Finds Home Court Redemption Against Pocatello

There's no place like home for Twin Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 56-47 win over the Pocatello Thunder on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bruins' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Thunder are ranked 19th).

Twin Falls' record is now 3-6. As for Pocatello, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Falls will face off against Preston at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Preston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for Pocatello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Thunder Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.
