Bishop Miege posted their closest victory since September 27th on Saturday. They skirted past the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Stags: when they faced off against the Bobcats two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Bishop Miege who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 26-24.

Addy Handlin paced Bishop Miege's offense, picking up ten kills. Handlin really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Mayley Morrison controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bishop Miege's record is now 6-24. As for Basehor-Linwood, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-16.
