Baseball Recap: Milwaukee Reagan Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Milwaukee Reagan never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the West Allis Central Bulldogs as they made off with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Leopold Oszuscik made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Milwaukee Reagan got a massive performance out of Owen Hirthe, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Cullen O'Keefe was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Milwaukee Reagan pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for West Allis Central, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Coming up, Milwaukee Reagan will head out to square off against Milwaukee King at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Allis Central, they will face off against Augustine Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
