Basketball Game Preview: Wellington-Napoleon Tigers vs. Cameron Dragons

The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers will face off against the Cameron Dragons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Wellington-Napoleon and three for Cameron.

Last Wednesday, Wellington-Napoleon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to East.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jackson Waterworth, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jonny Hampton, who scored eight points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Cameron ended up a good deal behind Bishop LeBlond on Tuesday and lost 54-38. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Eagles are ranked 37th).

Wellington-Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cameron, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
