Dayten DiOrio put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Saturday. He struck out five batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, DiOrio and Sterling will take on Platte Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
