Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baylor). They put the hurt on the Webb Spartans with a sharp 18-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

Baylor's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Webb, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Baylor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair will be back at it again later today.
