Soccer Game Preview: Gunn vs. Cupertino

The Gunn Titans will venture away from home to take on the Cupertino Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cupertino took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gunn, who comes in off a win.

Gunn took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past MacDonald 5-2. Considering the Titans' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Cupertino came up short against Saratoga on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Gunn now has a winning record of 7-6-5. As for Cupertino, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.

Gunn was able to grind out a solid victory over Cupertino in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gunn since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
