Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Alter Takes a Loss

Archbishop Alter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Elder Panthers. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Archbishop Alter started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-15, 25-11, 25-14.

Archbishop Alter's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Elder, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Coming up, Archbishop Alter will square off against Centerville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Elder does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
