Delphi Community extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Ava Mills. The Oracles took down the Tri-Central Trojans 57-39 on Thursday thanks in part to Mills, who shot 60% from the field on her way to 18 points along with seven boards and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-Central lost, don't look at Logan Creason. Despite the final result, she went 10-for-13 en route to 22 points. Another player making a difference was Layla Baldwin, who posted four points.

Delphi Community's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Tri-Central, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Delphi Community will take on Western Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-Central, they will face off against Northfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
