Baseball Game Preview: Herriman Mustangs vs. Fremont Silverwolves

For the second straight game, Herriman will face off against Fremont. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Silverwolves at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Herriman is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Herriman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Fremont by a score of 6-1.

Herriman got a great performance from Mason Greeno as he struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave Greeno a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cameron Pettitt, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cache Carter, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

The win got Herriman back to even at 13-13. As for Fremont, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.
