Clovis had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Buchanan Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.
Clovis walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.
Justin Moua paced Clovis' offense, picking up 13 kills. Moua got some help from Aiden Insyarath and his 36 assists. Moua was also a major player on defense: he and Ethan Tofan shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.
Clovis pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Buchanan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-13.
