Basketball Recap: Rantoul Comes Up Short

Rantoul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the East Peoria Raiders, falling 86-63. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2015.

Rantoul's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for East Peoria, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-8.

Coming up, Rantoul will head out to take on Urbana at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Peoria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
