Baseball Game Preview: Jordan-Matthews Jets vs. Montgomery Central Timberwolves

The Jordan-Matthews Jets will head out on the road to challenge the Montgomery Central Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jordan-Matthews is leaving town to face Montgomery Central after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Jordan-Matthews lost 16-1 to Eastern Randolph on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Jets have suffered against the Wildcats since March 14, 2018.

Jordan-Matthews saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Bowden, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Montgomery Central didn't have quite enough to beat Southwestern Randolph on Friday and fell 7-6. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
