Volleyball Recap: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Blackduck on Thursday, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley came back down to earth. The Wolves fell just short of the Drakes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Drakes earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3. As for Blackduck, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Menahga on the 13th. As for Blackduck, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sacred Heart on the 13th.
