Hayward hasn't had much luck against Arroyo recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Farmers will square off against the Dons at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Hayward's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
On Friday, Hayward made easy work of Tennyson and carried off a 21-3 victory.

Niles Braggs was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryland Bueno, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hayward kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 11.4.
Meanwhile, Arroyo entered their tilt with San Lorenzo on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Grizzlies.
Jacob Soares made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Marco Carbajal was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Arroyo's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Hayward, their record now sits at 8-16.
Hayward might still be hurting after the 10-3 loss they got from Arroyo in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Farmers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
