Basketball Recap: Lyric Ersland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Flathead over Capital

Flathead suffered their closest defeat since February 13, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Capital Bruins by a score of 69-66. The Braves/Bravettes have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Flathead lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lyric Ersland, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe St. Germain, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 15 points and three steals.
