Basketball Game Preview: Kemper County Wildcats vs. Northeast Lauderdale Trojans

The Kemper County Wildcats will take on the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Kemper County is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since November 12th on Saturday. They fell just short of Noxubee County by a score of 44-42.

Meanwhile, Northeast Lauderdale ended up a good deal behind South Jones on Friday and lost 65-47. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeast Lauderdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Kemper County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Kemper County was taken down by Northeast Lauderdale 69-36 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Kemper County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
