Volleyball Game Preview: Rehoboth Christian Lynx vs. Laguna Acoma Hawks

Rehoboth Christian is 1-9 against Laguna Acoma since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Rehoboth Christian came up short against Kirtland Central and fell 3-1.

Rehoboth Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Kirtland Central work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21, 24-26, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Laguna Acoma came up short against Legacy Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Silverbacks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-9.

Laguna Acoma now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Rehoboth Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Rehoboth Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Laguna Acoma in their previous meeting last Saturday, winning 3-1. Do the Lynx have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
