Soccer Recap: Wadsworth Comes Up Short

Wadsworth lost against Solon back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Comets by a score of 3-2.

Leah Blake and Athena Craig scored both of Wadsworth's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Wadsworth's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7-3. As for Solon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5-1.

Looking ahead, Wadsworth is taking a road trip to face off against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Solon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
