Volleyball Recap: Hillside Comes Up Short

Hillside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Jordan Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 0-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hillside and Jordan will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Hillside sees the court they'll take on Eno River Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Jordan, their break will end when they face Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on April 9.
