Softball Recap: Acorn Takes a Loss

Acorn lost against Hector back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Acorn's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hector, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Acorn will head out on the road to square off against Hackett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hector, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Danville at 4:30 p.m. The Wildcats are facing the Little Johns at the right time seeing as the Little Johns are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
