Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Waggener's Fifth in Last Six Outings

It was a proper cat-fight when Waggener duked it out with Bell County on Saturday. The Waggener Wildcats came out on top against the Bell County Bobcats by a score of 77-67.

Waggener is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points over those games. As for Bell County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.

Waggener wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-47 victory against North Bullitt on the 28th. As for Bell County, they have also already played their next game, a 79-65 win against Harlan County on the 28th.
