Basketball Game Preview: La Farge Wildcats vs. De Soto Pirates

La Farge is 0-10 against De Soto since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The La Farge Wildcats will host the De Soto Pirates at 7:15 p.m. La Farge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, La Farge ended up a good deal behind Seneca and lost 76-61.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-35, which was the final score in De Soto's tilt against North Crawford on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Trojans are ranked 102nd).

La Farge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for De Soto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
