Baseball Recap: Plattsburg Takes a Loss

After flying high against Vienna on Friday, Plattsburg came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Polo Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Plattsburg's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-8. As for Polo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Plattsburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against Maysville on the 19th. As for Polo, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-13 defeat against Braymer on the 19th.
